同意，而且我觉得can是多余的。

支持A, 2个理由：这里需要用完成时，所以用having left; can 是不能随便拿掉的，否则改变原意。

Presuming 如果是分词形式（好像只能是分词形式），那么，只有B有可能正确。因为，Presuming 后面应该有THAT（如果后面是宾语从句）。虽然，B的倒装似乎没有道理。

而A中presuming such life forms having left fossil traces无论从逻辑意思还是惯用法，好像都不好。

所以，我首选B，其次是A。
