I guess Accounting, Economics or Finance is slightly preferred to Management for Equity Research.........
but if you have a finance concentration and a CFA, things should be still fine, logically........
(since the most important / difficult part of equity research is not the financial modeling, but the business sense, in additional to the accounting background to understand the tricks of the financial statement)
and indeed given your background, you should stand a chance for a better MSF than that of JHU, given that you also look outside US (since per-experience MSF is uncommon and not preferred in the US system)
