我想问一下，如果我的职业规划是做行业或者股票研究，那么名校管理仍然可以优于一般学校的金融吗？
我现在准备尝试申请IC Columbia UCL UCLA，反正试试又不少块肉~但是我自己知道他们的金融都是顶级难(ie我知道有哈佛的本科在ucl读金融()，所以仅仅是碰碰运气啦！可能管理更适合我，但是又回到了职业目标上:研究员会收管理专业吗~

I guess Accounting, Economics or Finance is slightly preferred to  Management for Equity Research.........
but if you have a finance concentration and a CFA, things should be still fine, logically........

(since the most important / difficult part of equity research is not the financial modeling, but the business sense, in additional to the accounting background to understand the tricks of the financial statement)

and indeed given your background, you should stand a chance for a better MSF than that of JHU, given that you also look outside US (since per-experience MSF is uncommon and not preferred in the US system)

那你觉得uiuc ucsd好过jhu吗~我总觉得我的背景很尴尬，又不到mit，又不爱brandy等小众学校……uiuc ucsd倒是还可以，但是因为JHU排名和奖学金的诱惑，不知道该不该申请……
