低GPA,GMAT 750能申到BOCCONI,HSG 的Finance吗？

我的观点基本同cheesechan前辈，target是HK，exchange, double degree和intern都要以那边为主。bocconi和HSG一个tier，但据我了解，bocconians r everywhere in london BB，校友网无比强大。

也可以曲线救国，找跟港校有double degree和exchange的学校申请。

以樓主的背景, 我個人認為, 要做到switch of industry, 又同時保留switch of location to both London + HK 是接近mission impossible.
既然己經confirm 了switch of industry, 建議先鎖定targeted location: Europe, or APAC?
(as far as I know, there are no business dual degree between HK and UK, at least none with the top/good one)

真的想去香港的話, 建議leverage diversity background 申不太看GPA的MBA of HKUST/CUHK/HKU.
想在歐洲的話, Bocconi and HSG (and SSE, HEC and etc...) will be good enough.

Given OP has a long-term residence premit in a certain EU country, 後者應該有足夠迴旋空間的.

P.S. London ranks 3rd in the number of alumni of HSG working in, after Zurich and Frankfurt (if I remember correct)

P.S. finding an exchang to HK is not a problem, but seems there are no double degree availale.

谢谢前辈的指教！London不在考虑范围，港中科当中金融项目较好的是港大的Finance和科大的Investment management, 拿到offer的都是牛人中的牛人。您之前提到bocconi在HK有network及compay training，我想我可以发邮件去学校了解一下。

谢谢前辈，辛苦您打了这么多字。楼主switch of industry是为了switch of location，认为在HK做Finance类的工作比较好找。家人打算回去，我也不喜欢以后继续在欧洲生活，所以London不在考虑范围。并没有特别想拿dual degree，只是想看如果在欧洲读有HK的exchange项目的话，对于日后找HK的工作便利些。

我自己也认为直接申请港校更好，但我之前做的不是金融类，缺乏这方面的知识，所以想学Finance多过MBA, 而港中科当中金融项目较好的港大的Finance与科大的Investment Management以我的poor GPA申请难度相当大，了解过拿offer的人都很牛。

之前也考虑在欧洲读一年的金融硕士接着再去港校读一年，这样港校的那一年就不用申请金融项目，可以选择其他专业这样比较容易拿offer, 但正好现在想读的BOCCONI和HSG都是两年的项目，这样的时间长度便不打算再花一年在香港读。（港校读完留港不用工作签证相当便利）。
请前辈再帮我分析定位一下。

您提到的UvA MIF是一年的项目，但我在FINANCIAL TIMES的Masters in Finance Pre-experience 2015没见到她，荷兰的反而是Rotterdam School of Management与Tilburg University，难道排名真的不重要？

1. 大多數會有exchange 的master 都不只一年的…一年這麼短那夠時間…

2. Finance is not something really difficult.  Normally MBA with a concentration in finance  > MS Fina since it is a post experience program and has a much better network and career service.
Practicak side stuffs can be verified by CFA.

3. Not to mention that given your background,  拿MBA 的offer 似乎比MSF 容易點。

Do u have a HK ID?  And do u speak Cantonese?
Both will make things a bit easier.

I mean the post experience, one,  just like the one in LBS or Judge,  which require some year of experience.

我当时是这么想的，如果是一年的话没有exchange也没关系，读完申请香港的读，也就是欧洲一年，香港一年，两个硕士。这样香港那一年就不需要申请Finance不用担心拿不到offer. 但BOCCONI是两年的，希望毕业可以直接在港工作。
我想港校的一起申请，假如今年没拿到港中科的offer, 有港中科以外的如理大、城大等的offer（非MBA）的话值得去吗？或者我可以先读一年，把GPA修好，之后再用这个GPA申请港中科，您认为这么做合适吗？但申请季通常是秋冬，也就是只有第一个学期的成绩加本科的成绩可以申请。选择三大以外的话是不是不如在国外读？
？

我没有HK ID，有的话就简单很多，会广东话。

另外他们家的一半学费奖学金是属于哪一种？

看了往年的帖子说到他们家的Finance偏数理，要是数理知识不扎实的话学起来是不是很痛苦？
