LBS没有冷门专业 G5基本上对于非211985都con90，我觉得楼主还是申请Warwick比较合理也比较实际。

谢谢你的回复，我这种情况有没有可能G5的某冷门专业给我一个con offer，然后我大四下再选一些课程刷到90分呢？我是打算申请华威的business（AF）呢，因为纯的AF我觉得肯定申请不到呢，那个超难申请

这个就试试吧 不过你现在均分88 要刷到90很难的 毕竟一般人大四没啥课了

好的，谢谢你喔。我先准备g，其他学校你了解吗？华威business（AF），爱大accounting and finance，曼大accounting and finance，杜伦accounting and finance，kcl的accounting and finance这些学校在英国和中国的名声如何呢？录取难度如何呢

1. as sb said above, there is not 冷门专业 in LBS.
for Oxbridge.....well, they are Oxbridge.
LSE has tons of major. Maybe you should try should consider a 冷门 (i.e. non business) one.
Imperial and UCL, well indeed, similar to LSE, I guess the chance is really slim.

2. Be realistic, dream less. Staying UK for a job without any professional, without any previous experience and without a name of top school is next to impossible as an international. Get a more reasonable plan.
Location is useful but not that much as you imagine, because:
I/ basically good UK business school is not far away from London
II/ to make the location as a useful factor......well, make sure your CV is not screened away first.
even if you live next to the bank, this is useful unless they ask you for onsite interview.

3. No need to balance. If you want a job in UK, you have to:
I/ get a good degree from a good school, LBS, LSE, Oxbridge, IC, UCL, Warwick.
II/ you need many many time in preparation for job searching. you either fight for it with all your effort (else you won't have any chances), or you forget about that and be prepared to go home.
It is more about choice, then balance.

4. depends on your career plan.


5. I guess
UK point of view: Oxbridge, LBS, LSE, IC, UCL, Warwick. order doesn't matter too much as they should be able to get one to the door for interview as long as one is capable. Cass comes afterwards. well.....indeed, whatever school all come after your passport.
If back China, what I will first ask is, consider the actual and opportunity cost of doing a master at all those 2nd tier school in UK before asking.
The difference between throwing $$ into Pacific Ocean or into Atlantic Ocean is not really that big anyway.


Key Question: why the company should consider an international student instead of a local one (local = UK + EU as they don't need working visa)? well, if you are very good, the big companies are willing to pay the adminstrative cost; but what if the case that the applicant is not even able to go to the 1st tier school given that their 1st tier school is already treating education as source of income? good luck.

申华威business吧符合你的想法，回国名声也还可以，曼大af和g5有点难
另外 在英国找工作真的不容易。。。雅思7远远不够，lz加油

嗯嗯，谢谢你。我现在已经申请了business了，没有申请曼大，因为听说曼大很早就招满了，我12月初才开始申请的，所以觉得他们应该招满了，就没有申请了。G5确实难，哈哈哈，就是想冲刺一下。你觉得如果想在英国找工作，应该朝哪方面努力呢？你是有这方面的经验吗？介意分享一下吗？
