umm..."in response"的確有"in response(,)+句子"的用法.
可是它的意思是, "作出回應...", 而且這個用法要求, in跟response之間不能插入任何東西...

Finally I was won over by this question

I think D is better than A , since in which can be interpreted as in the response. However, translating into Chinese would not work on.

One of the error in A remains the parallism that is the biggest mistake

I have nothing else to talk about this question....
