Hi there, glad that you are interested in startup/entrepreneurship. I would say there are full support both from the business school and across the university.
First, we have quite a number of classmates either coming from an entrepreneur or family business background, or planning to start their own business post-MBA, so I guess you could always find someone with similar levels of mindset and network to work with; second, there are fruitful resources you can leverage throughout your MBA journey, such as the social enterprise courses, the student-run entrepreneurship club, and tons of workshops or business plan competitions that you can always start fulfilling your dream with trails (several groups of my classmates will go abroad for international competition in the coming spring, just FYI); furthermore, the UST entrepreneurship centre has been very active in providing connection between students and the market as well as supporting students from different background to mingle with each other and start with real-life projects on campus. HK might not be such a rising star of startups as you may heard, but you will definitely feel differently when you get handful knowledge and skills at UST.
Hope this is helpful!
Thanks, |
