小弟请教一下GWD5-Q14 as...as...后面一个as能否做代词的问题

答案选E, 我选了D，改成than in any other month能选吗？
为什么than 后面要省略比较的对象而后半句的as却要加what呢，做PREP的时候我记得有写as...as...后面的as可以做代词什么的，more....than的than也可以做代词，这里怎么又不行了呢？看了之前的贴子好像都没有描述过这个问题。求各位小伙伴解答，谢谢~~~

啊哈，我找到了
PREP 202 中有写：as,than可以做比较从句的主语，例：
In one of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War, fought at Sharpsburg, Maryland, on September 17, 1862, four times as many Americans were killed as would later be killed on the beaches of Normandy during D-Day.  As指代了americans。
做的是主语。而这题里面缺少的是宾语所以不能用。
GWD7-Q4 也是这个道理~
