搜索了前人的帖子，但是没找到有人问过相关问题，肯能是我太弱了，呵呵。

我搞不清楚and merges 是与谁并列的。如果与主句的is并列那是肯定的错的，与定语从句的谓语powers并列吗？感觉这个也是错的的呀？  与powers并列不也相当于 句子＋逗号and 谓语吗？与前者的错误是一样的呀。请问什么情况下使用 逗号and  谓语 ？想了好久也没明白，请教！！

我想这里是merges与powers平行. Nuclear fusion is the force that powers A,B,and C, and merges D...

and merges前加逗号,是因为在powers 和 merges之间有A,B和C将它们隔开.所以需要加个逗号.如果,没有A,B和C的话,是无须加逗号的.

感谢楼上的兄弟。还是有点疑问：the Sun, the stars, and hydrogen bombs 是做powers的宾语，3个宾语平行，并不影响powers与merges的平行呀？我得意思是 that powers the Sun, the stars, and hydrogen bombs and merges 应该也是可以的，没必要加逗号吧？ 所以对这个句子的结构还是不清楚，还请牛牛指教！

但是如果是和power并列的话， 那不就成了 force merges the nuclei of atoms, 但是应该是Nuclear fusion 来merge比较说的通吧

为什么不能使 force that A (powers ....), and B (merges ...)? 不明白为什么merge 和 powers不能平行，共同修饰force?
