我的愚见是：第一题当中的provide是非谓语动词当中的现在分词，它引导一个现在分词短语作involve的宾语。

第二题当中的the和certain，从某种意义上来说意思相近，都带有特指某一中东西或某一群体的意思，所以两者不能一起用，否则就重复了。

不知道我说对没有。
