纠结于E，网上解释是now with错误修饰主语gyrfalcon，容易使人产生该结构与with extinction 平行的疑惑，故不妥
没搞懂E为什么错，如果首句改成The gyrfalcon has survived a close extinction的话，那E就是独立主格修饰主语g，不知道哪里有修饰问题，求大神赐教

首先，with是有固定用法的，你可以去精华帖找找。根据with的用法，在这里，with就会被认为在修饰主句的主语
其次，独立主格可不会用with或者其他介词引导，请看一个标准的独立主格：
With surface temperature at minus 230 degrees Fahrenheit, Jupiter's moon Europa has long been considered fat too cold to support life, its 60 square miles of water thought to be frozen from top to bottom.

我看了精华帖的with用法了，因为这篇文当中说了with独立主格作伴随可以修饰主语、谓语或整句句子，所以我还是不太懂这里如果作伴随的话修饰主语有什么不对，还是说这里不是作伴随？能不能麻烦你再给我解答一下？
