Quick answer, correct me if I am wrong:

1) Schools with Early Round/Appliation may view early application as evidence of commitment;
2) Round 1 / Round 2 are almost indifferent for applicants from an untraditional /unique /niche / distinguished background
3) Round 1 should be preferred for applicants with traditional background if it won't materially affect the quality of application package

Always a tradeoff between earlier submission and higher package quality. If you believe you are ready, there is no reason to hold back application.
