关于比较中的省略问题

正确答案是B，我的疑问在于E选项，如果have been不存在问题，第二个as后面能不能看作是省略了they are？

正确答案是D，我的问题在于B选项，能不能看作是省略了are they呢？

不行，时态不一致，要把动词补全，不能只有助动词。第二个也不行，省略就成了do likely to do
