我也总结到这题啦。

个人感觉要看有无语意重复，如果有（或只是可能有）就要去掉，如果没有就要留着。比如那道not unlike，后面没有跟它同义的词出现了，就在这里地方出现了一次该意思的表达，因此要留着。242题因为后面有个necessary，所以一定要去掉，necessary已经表达“必要”的意思了。如果一定要保留no less than，后面要改成needed才行啊。

我觉得携隐说的有道理。但是还有一个疑问，B选项中已经用了needed,还是不对。是不是 nothing other than 有什么问题？知道的请赐教。

A说no less than...也就是说至少一个breakthrough是必要的。表达的意思就是我们现在的技术还达不到标准。
