此题选e。。我选的是b，根据comma,+v-ing的原则，此处arguing modifies 前面的主句 , applies to Lucretia Mott，感觉没什么问题。

答案说b太wordy。。我想问如果去掉in a treatise，b选项变成arguing for equal political and legal rights for women可以选吗？

如果仅仅凭wordy这个理由把b排除，在考试这么紧张的时间状态下，真的很难看出来啊。。

再加上e选项用的是被动语态，感觉有点迷惑T T

我只能从经验的角度说一下

GMAT有很多这样的题，
主句描述一种方法，a solution that.....
主句描述一个人写了一本书，a work that....
主句描述了气候异常，a phenomenon that....

至于为啥wordy，你想像一下老外说中文
老外自己觉得没什么，能懂
你也听得懂，但也知道一个中国人永远不会这么说话
这就是wordy and awkward

谢谢这位大侠～～ 我想你说的有道理，之前看到有一个解释说，像是这样的句式，还是倾向于用同位语修饰，虽然总结得有点简单粗暴，但也提醒了我以后遇到这种句式要小心吧～
