我想主要在于if 和 as的理解
我想主要在于对if 和as的理解， 以及对整个句意的理解.

题干中用suck as 表示举例 ，原意为:电视can be superficial ， 比如当broadcast same statement的时候. 所以选E.

而C中if表示条件， 意思改为: 如果电视中 broadcast same statement， 电视可能superficial的。 句意发生了变化.

c的话，其中if 是条件语气而原文想用的是时间状语
也就是说when -----------television can be superficial
其中的as可以理解为引出时间状语

C的错误我认为是"if"使用的错误，这个句子要用if的话，就得这样说：

Although it claims to delve into political issues, television will be superficial if the three major networks all broadcast exactly the same statement from a political candidate.
因为这是一个真实条件句，没有必要用can.

另外的原因是：E更好地维持了原句的意思。such as 后面是不可以接从句的所以A从结构上就是错误的。但是as 是副词修饰when the three major networks each。正好表示的就是原句的意思－比如....时候

所以E更好！
