不值得，如果他真的重视你，应该会给你安排让你较方便的面试而不是他最方便的面试。连Wharton这样的牛校都知道给申请者三种选择，并建议选你最convenient的方式。当然了如果你是铁了心非Yale不上就非去不可了。

Yale is not my first choice. But how many times you can have a reason to visit a Ivy league school like Yale in your life? So I decide to go. At  least, I can practice my interview skill.

Half a year ago, my company sent me to work in a Chicago Surburb  for three months.

I used to drove my Mustand convertable (rented) in Downtown Chicago on Saturday and Sundays. Those are some good times, man. I happend to pass by NorthWesten and UIUC, but never thought to pay a visit. So I consider on-campus interview as a chance to learn some IVY league schools. I will try to visit all of them since they are all in NorthEast

It is Spring now here, It will be a nice 5-hour road trip.

yvonne MM shouldn't be so pessimistic.  The deadline is still far ahead.  There are plenty of resons to keep your hope afloat.

It's impossible for applicants in mainland China to get Yale's admisson this year. They only invite applicants for interview in their campus.(Interview Policy changed) And no interview, no chance according to last year's statistics. Those chinese applicants in US? Have no good news from them until now. But possible several do not show up in all kinds of forums.
