Got Ivey offer today

Submitted the application package about 10 days ago, received offer today. Getting into Ivey should be over 100% for me, but still a little bit surprised that they are so fast.....

Still waiting for TUCK, but not so sure.....

It is fast. I begin to think that IVEY is desperate to fill it 2007 class.

in a weird way, I am happy that I did not apply IVEY.

Yes! that is why not happy at all! Ivey is like 'chicken wing'......well, it is my backup anyway, wait for Tuck....

I got college study in Canada. Took GMAT at beginning of March, got 720. Then scheduled class visit at beginning of April, during the class visit, I got interview with a second year student. After class visit, I prepared essays, and at the same time, asked for references and transcripts(sent directly to the school). So finally, when everything was ready, mailed the application package in the middle of April. Got offer on May 2.

For me, my college average is very high, and GMAT is good enough for Ivey. Plus I have many years working experience, and currently working for a big IT company in Canada. On the other hand, during my visit to Ivey, I knew that they do not have many highly qualified applicants and students. So I am 100% sure that they cannot turn me down.

If you don't like the school, why did you apply it? NoChickenWingMBA sometimes is better than a wing.

Sometimes human is really a kind of complex animal.........If Ivey had not given you an offer untill June, you would cherish it very much, I believe that.

I submitted my application package on Feb 15, got interview on Feb 22, and received offer on Feb 24. However, I think why this happened is because  of the efficient recruiting system at Ivey.
