我也在考虑Baruch的accounting，我听说如果申请人在美国生活1年以上的，学费会比从国内来的人便宜些，是不是真的呐？我有个朋友在baruch part time 读的EMBA。学费和美国人一样。

piaony,是否可以以in-state的身份支付学费的问题，我们有问过学校，说是不可以，还不符合条件。不知你的朋友是如何支付的？另外，你看一下有关residence的规定。我们register前都要填一个residence form,就是要确定你是否可以以in-state 的身份支付学费的。good luck!希望明年能见到你在Baruch喔！

我认识的那个朋友是公派到NY工作三年的，他来不到一年就读了parttime学费是和美国同学一样的。呵呵，可能是fulltime的没这个优惠。

piaony,你那个朋友来美国的时候拿的签证和我们不一样，他拿的是HIB工作签证，持这类签证的又在使用part-time benefits的（好像）是可以以resident的待遇支付学费的。与是否是full time没有关系。一点愚见，请参考。

大家的课程都已经安排好了吗？我写信给wynne，希望能再多免掉一些课，可是他还没有答复我，这样我都不好安排第一学期的选课呢。我看到学校建议我们第一学期选financial accounting I&II 就不要选其他核心课程了，据他们说这门课很challenging。大家是怎么想的？不知道challenging到什么程度阿。本来我自己还打算修多一门required course，现在被他们说的心里没底了。

Hi folks,I will go to Baruch MBA accountancy this fall as well. So nice to meet y'all here. Here is some of my experience in Baruch. I went to school the last two days. So many things have to be done by yourself plus the the weather is so hot. I talked to Mr. Micheal Waynne.It seems like he is super busy and didnt have much time to discuss with me. But he recommended me to take CIS,Financial accoutning, Statistics,Marketing and Spoken English for the first semester( since I have to take two more english course like Vinton). He also said for MBA accounting,there is no waiver courses,but you can choose substitute course to replace those courses you wanna waive. Here is one more thing that drove me nuts.People in ISSC are so mean.I noticed that since I talked to them on phone before I came here. And when I went there personally, it was worse. I saw the advisor yelled at the student in her office. And after another student and I waited her for twenty mins, the receptionist said to the student who waited with me "Florxxx doesnt wanna see u!" and said"Florxxx doesnt have time to see you" to me!!!!I was freaked out!! I mean, Hey,come on, you are here to help students.How can you so mean to us? And the receptionist is cold as well. I never heard her say anything polite or courtesy to people,except a receptionist guy (he looks like a intern student,he is much nicer than others).Anyways,the staff in other offices are so much better.

Btw, is there any girl interested in renting an apt. in Queens or New port? Plz send me a message here.thanx!^_^
