I don't think I had a sucessful interview in Ceibs, but anyway, I got the offer, better than nothing, so I'd like share my experience. Hope can benifit other applicants.

- The presentaiton

Pay attention to the time limit of the presentation. As requested, you will be given 5minutes to do the presentation in English. But 2 guys spent more than 6 minutes, which is not welcomed by the admission officer. And these 2 guys didn't get the offer, maybe there is some relation with the performance of their presentations.

-The Group Discussion

In my case, the officer asked us to discuss in Chinese, so if you are not very poor in communication, just discuss as normal chating with friends, that will be fairly enough. If you have no any idea about basic business concepts and feel nothing to comment on the case, you are suggested not to apply for MBA.

-The interview

I don't think I had a successful interview, the feeling is so so , the admission madam looked very tough and serious(maybe because I am not handsome, an ideal MBA should be very handsome-I have no objection for this point).

One question She asked was "if you are not admitted by CEIBS, what will you do?"

My answer is so stupid: "I will continue working and reapply for next year's MBA programme in Ceibs". --I don't know why I gave a such a stupid reply at that time.

I think the best answer should be"I have also applied other schools, I will also see the results from other schools and then decide what to do"

If you have no any idea about basic business concepts and feel nothing to comment on the case, you are suggested not to apply for MBA.

I have not a economic background, then I should not apply for MBA? What about if they ask me the economical questions? Can I just learn it in 1-2 weeks? Who could give me the answer?

应该不会问很specific的经济类问题的，因为商学院讲究的就是diversity。楼主的话有些言重了，没有basic business concepts其实不打紧，重要的是有一颗思维清楚的，逻辑性强的好脑袋。

同意Carlpeng的观点。其实小组讨论考察的是大家的参与性、contribution of relative points、discussion skills(礼、义、达）和analytical skills，跟你是否有商业/经济知识并无重要关系。当然，可以适当的谦虚一下，比如说，虽然我不是学市场/战略/经济之类的，但是根据我在某行业/领域的经验，我觉得有相同的道理之类的——这样面试官可以谅解你对商业知识的不足，同时又足够重视你的背景是UNIQUE的——我觉得这就是所谓的面试技巧，认真结合每个人的实际情况思考一下，让面试官和你的小组组员觉得你既有礼貌、你的观点也比较容易接受，同时对你我背景和你的perspective/ideas也不敢小觑。

一家之言——我自我感觉，本人的两个部分面试都还是比较到位的，属于正常发挥。

不好意思，可能我的表达不准确，给大家带来误解。其实我的意思是指一些基本的商务常识，比如说需求和供应，供应商和客户，不是什么高深的概念。
