dear windflower, i see how you are waving in the wind recently. haha... don't worry, everything will be better sooon. i still strongly support you to join a good university. unc is a goodchoice. though some people might say that famous university would be not so important for a ms degree in accounting, weneed look far far forward. the university's culture, schoolmates andprofessors are all important elements, which might benefit you in longrun. as for the competition, it is totally up to yourself. to get inunc, and to study hard sharpening your edge!!
you have already paid two years for the chance of study, therefore,don't just pick one for the economic reason. your husband will supportyou both from financing and spirits.
再来给你关心一下，如果你很想去UNC，或许可以试着跟学校说说你的情况，看可否waive你的学费，或是现在还有无奖学金没发出的，极力去争取看看；另一方面，因为我的亲友都在加州，所以对当地还不陌生，如果你跟老公未来希望在加州工作久居的话，当然是在当地念书会比较有优势，因为校友力量，找工作也会比外地生来得快，之前跟你提过加州学校都是QUARTER制比较多，如果你想念好学校的话，或许可以申请春季班试试，时间并不会让你等太久，Just my two cents！加油！
unc doesn't have assistantship or fellowship in the mac program to the international students.
windflower mm, why don't you let your lg try to find a job in the Relaigh-Chapel Hill area? There are a lot of opportunities there, especially in the bio area. Then you two can stay here at least during your next year of study at unc.
