美国法律已经改了,双方都非居民的孩子不能直接入籍了,除非你找美国公民走捷径,要不就要等绿卡,根本不能想生就生.

This is true. The fourteenth amendment says that anyone who is born in the United States is automatically granted citizenship, given that children's birthparents are within the limits of US federal jurisdiction. Foreigners are not subject to U.S Jury Duty, therefore, foreigners do not have allegiance to the U.S Constitution. In sum, it is the allegiance of the birth parents that determine the child's citzenship, not the geographic locations. In other words, what carmelin said was incorrect. winter is correct

咦? 咋开始讨论生孩子啦.....多数人出国读书,特别是读MBA的是为了自己而不是为了生美国公民吧? ...到了年纪,机缘巧合的能生自然就生了,宪法改不改的没啥关系吧

楼上的应该年纪还小吧,为了自己是暂时的,人到了一定的岁数后就本能的开始为后代营谋.

适龄的打算留美的人,似乎都或多或少期待着自己的后代可以生来即为美国公民,不用像自己一样大费周折.

这是一个非常自然而现实的问题,丁客除外啦
