33. You have received a gift of money. The money is enough to buy either a piece of jewelry you like or tickets to a concert you want to attend. Which would you buy?
Everyone in this world likes to receive a gift especially a gift of money. Based on personal inclination, diverse needs and personality type, people might make different decisions to buy different things, such as a piece of jewelry, favorite concert tickets and so forth. As for me, however, what choose to buy depends on my different plan at different time.
If I were a boy, I would buy a piece of jewelry to my girlfriend. Almost all women like jewelry in this world and I could deliver my love with this jewelry to her. Besides, this jewelry can bring good memories to us. The fact is, unfortunately, I am not able to do that way. With the coming of my mother’s birthday, I think this jewelry might a good and meaningful present for her. Firstly, I have never sent her such a present of jewelry, and she will be happy when she wears this jewelry in some formal occasion and speak proudly “This is my birthday present my daughter sent to me.” Furthermore, I also want to send my love and respect with the jewelry to my great mother. I am sure this jewelry will be impressive memory between us, and bring us two happiness.
On the other hand, if I ended with a all-day hard work, I would like the concert ticket to relax. It is music that can make me feel better. When I am absorbed in the music, I feel I like a bird rush out of the cage, fly freely in the wilderness, breathe fresh air, and enjoy enough sunshine. Music to me in my exhausted time is just like what water to plants in arid period. Thus, if I were given a gift of money now, I would choose to buy a piece of jewelry for my mother. I feel well recently, and don’t need the concert ticket; I want to give my mother a present considering her birthday is coming. I suppose this will for sure be a surprise and big happiness to her. |
