Help, XDF-S12-T20 , "with..."状语 or 定语

In analyzing the structrue
"having test-driven cars with their odometers disconnected",

some one explains that  

"have" means "有"
and
"with ...." modifies "cars" as 定语.

But I think that
the structure is "having done sth with... "
and
"with ...." modifies "having done sth " as 状语

我觉得是做定语,如果是状语的话最后的their是指manufacturer,不是指Car 了,而这从逻辑上讲不通.

But
"their" can't be modify "manufacturer"since "their " is plural while "manufacturer" is singular.

and
"their" can only modify "cars" since both are plural nouns.

肯定是作定语，不过这个句子真是奇怪， sb pay x for having y , 这里的 for是做表原因的介词吗？
