Lucsh,
I believe the location of DC is better than Atlanta, while I have to admit that Emory graduate will have more stronger network in Atlanta too. So i think it depend on where you would like to work after graduate. For me, I have no idea which location is better-- southeast or mid atlantic?
As for the ranking, though Emory is higer than Gtown, I won't take it too seriously. Emory has $$$, and it's very easy to maniupulate this result if you have $$$. I would only take that for ref. However, I believe Emory's generous money can benefit its students a lot, no matter in teaching quality and facilty. Gtown does not have this advantage. Gtown is in huge debt, as far as I know.
I will probably go UNC finally coz it has more solid program and well known repuptation nationalwide in the US. Gtown has good repuptation too but I am not sure its program quality and I am not satisfied with its service after being admitted-- too little information from the school, no incoming student web, no beautiful student handbook.... Though this should not be key issue while choosing school, I personally believe this reflect somewhat of its managment quality. |
