36岁坚持申请想去美国读MBA,受到许多质疑，希望得到大家建议，欢迎尖锐的批评

既然想读就不要听别人说什么。如果老兄想创业想必是不会太在意别人的意见吧？

现实一点的建议：可以考虑一些一年Top MBA：Kellogg 1 Year, Cornell 1 Year, INSEAD.  如果就是中意Stanford可以考虑 Stanford MSx Program.

MSx used to be the Sloan program, aimed at mid career executives.  Not too many people apply, so you need to conduct your own due diligence.

Fully agree on Point 2 - Traditional full time US MBA programs are targeted at those who are early in their career and have clear target fields that they want to switch into.  In fact, most of the events (professional + social) at MBA schools are revolved around placing people into those target fields.  If you do not have a clear target field then you might not be able to fully participate in those events, so it is very easy to feel lost.

Again - I think the Sloan programs or the INSEAD one year programs could be a good fit for LZ if you really want to go full time.

如果LZ真想去其实不妨到美国走访一下这些学校. 近距离接触一下就知道合不合适了。
