邮件标题为“update from kellogg", 发件人是“CourtneyDesai&YhanaChav.."

我的邮箱无法正常显示邮件正文，兄弟姐妹们有没有受到类似的邮件，大概正文是什么呢？是interview waiving么？

我已经发信给admission officer了，不知道他们能否及时回复。

Thank you for your request for an alumni interview.  There has been a significant increase in the number of interview requests this year in your area; therefore we can not accommodate your request without making excessive demands of our alumni interviewers.  Due to these circumstances, we are waiving your interview requirement so as not to delay the submission or processing of your application.  
 
Please be assured that this waiver will in no way negatively impact your candidacy.  The Admissions Committee understands and expects these conditions and will certainly take them into consideration when reviewing your application.  The interview is a single factor in your evaluation and is by no means the most important criterion for admission.  The committee will contact you personally if they feel they need further clarification on any aspect of your file.

Hi, in what round did you apply? I have received nothing from Keollogg as a Jan round applicant.

Just my personal opinion:

If you got a regular interview assignment, then you are doing a blind interview.  The interviewer is more than likely unfamiliar with you aside from your resume.

If you got a telephone interview, then your interviewer will be more knowledgeable about your entire application and may ask very specific questions, much like an HBS interview, for instance.

I feel that there are advantages/disadvantages to both.  However, I personally prefer the blind interview as it gives me more room to elaborate on points which I feel need more emphasis.
