                                     Training Course For Tutors

             Westen University announce a new course in the practice ofo professional tutoring.The course combines a discussion class with practical experience in either the Math Center or the Writing Center.In the discussion class,students will explore tutorign theoties,examine the role of the peer tutor,and develop effective tutoring prctices.In their prctical experience ,students will observe peer tutoring  and advance to supervised tutoring .Students who are considering graduate school in related fields will benefit from this course.Enrollment is limited to 40 and requires the signature of an academic adviser.

 

listening :

W: Hey ,Gavin,yu should enroll in this course for tutors.

M: Me? I'm not a turor.

W: But you wanna go to graduate school,right?

M: Right.

W: And in graduate school you'll be a teaching assistant,right?

M: Probably.

W: Then this training course is just what you need .It will give you a head start learning how to teach.Some of universitiesdon't give their TAs much trainng.They just expect you to know how to do it,so this course might be reallyuseful for the future.

M:Maybe.I dould ar least get a job as a math tutor.

W: And you learn how to do it right.You'd learn some pratical theries about teaching and learning .

M: Ture.
W: Anyway, it might give you skills that could be useful later- no matter what kind of work you end up doing.

 

The woman expresses her opinion about the training courses for tutors.State her opinion and explain the reasons she gives for holding that opinion.( Our key points always from our listerning part)

 

The answer always has 3or 4 points. Reading time is enough for us ,but we'd better get the general ideas from reading passage.Even we could write down some key and hard words.
