The HKU Master of Finance(MFin) Programme offered by the Faculty of Business & Economics representsan optimal mix of fundamental and cutting-edge knowledge in all areas of modernfinance. The Programme offers three streams: 1) Corporate Finance, 2) FinancialEngineering and 3) Risk Management. Students may concentrate in one of thethree areas according to their interests and career aspirations. Students canbe awarded the degree with double concentration in Corporate Finance andFinancial Engineering, Corporate Finance and Risk Management, or FinancialEngineering and Risk Management provided that they have successfully completedall the twelve core courses in both areas plus two electives.
Successful graduates will enjoy acompetitive advantage in a wide range of career opportunities in commercial andinvestment banks, brokerage and investment firms, insurance companies, treasurydepartments of non-financial corporations, regulatory agencies, and alsoconsulting and accounting firms. Admissions for the 2016-17 Master of Finance programme at The University of Hong Kong ( HKU MFIN) arealready open. There are multiple rounds. The upcoming application deadline is Oct. 31, 2015. Offers will be made on a rolling basisand early applications are preferred in the sense that a large proportion ofoffers will be allocated to early applications.
