UNC or CMU

Hi, All--I got admissions from CMU and UNC. I am interested in either consulting or finance.  

CMU is the best fit for IT and analytical guys.  On the other hand, UNC is recognized most in east coast for its finance/marketing. Any comments or suggestions are highly appreciated!

you could find top 15 recruiting firms that hired the most graduates in the past academic year of both school.

According the statitics, CMU's consulting is strong, but finance is weak. CMU's placement is higer than UNC.

UNC is also a very nice school, just the placement ....

If I were you, I prefer CMU.

BTW, if you want to do consulting or IB in the states, it is very hard for Chinese. So don't base you decision only on the statistics of consulting and IB job placement.

i would choose CMU as well. concur everything 杰迪骑士said. statitics probably does not mean a lot_ depends on your credential, effort and luck when you are talking about JOBS. IB mkt in HK is certainly very promising and opens a lot of opportunity now..

I am not really sure about Finance weak claim - since CMU certainly Quantitative focused...

Finance弱不弱，看和谁比，呵呵。但是确实不是wallstreet重点招人的学校。更多的去了industry。
UNC也很好，风景秀丽，应该是marketing比较强吧。
