答案没有问题，我只想问一下D选项中的with the unemployment rate that has remained：

1）它一定做伴随状语吗？因为这里其实是with sth，不是独立主格（应该不是吧。。。求确认。。。），为什么不就近修饰the econonmy呢？是因为有一个逗号的关系吗？

2）如果with是做伴随状语：prep中说，“with的逻辑主语是Dutch economy，所以错误”，可是经济形势的一个指标就是unemployment rate，为什么with the unemployment rate 的逻辑主语不能是economy?

3）RON在解释with的时候说："with the unemployment rate that has remained"
--> implies, without justification, that the dutch economy is the ONLY economy with an unemployment rate that has satisfied this criterion。我不太明白，哪位NN能解释一下？

经济就是经济，失业率是失业率，两者没有逻辑关系。因为这两句话说的两码事。

所以说加了“，”后，with就是修饰主语，而不是就近修饰economy了对吗？（在n.+with。。中，如果中间没有逗号，with一定是修饰n.的吧？）

看到一个句子： The company has for several years followed a policy with the aim to decrease operating costs.
当时有一个NN的分析是：这里wit既可以就是policy，又可以修饰followed。。。
可是这里没有逗号，所以那位NN是不是讲错了，with应该只能修饰policy吧？

没错，with的结构是慎用


优先是修饰policy，但是也有做verb modifier的歧义


with的结构很蛋疼的

楼主 问的问题都是那么经典！！！

我只是 给 楼主 找到了一个 例子！！ 虽然我也是不是非常明白。


n + with    名词和 with 中间加个逗号，with 结构 也可以修饰 名词

接下来是第二句 句子了。


那么此处的 with 结构 修饰的 必定是 pattern.
那么 名词 即使后面有  ","
with 结构照样修饰 名词。

嗯嗯，之前一直没有被这个问题就结果，今天回了starfish那个题的贴，然后被with结构纠结了一整天。。。。
搞得自己觉得这么久的GMAT都白学了。。。

这两天论坛上关于with的问题讨论好多啊，DUKB说得对昂，还是看语义吧~
