现在完成时的适用范围

各位大侠们好，我误入歧途上过一次新东方，但感觉我的语法老师特别好。他讲现在完成时有两种适用情况：1.过去发生的动作一直持续到现在 2.表示过去的动作对现在造成了某种影响。

in the world, partly because of the difficulty of
distinguishing between a language and the
sublanguages or dialects within it. but those who have
tried to count typically have found about five thousand.

期中画线部分2次使用了现在完成时，分别是“have tired” 和“have found”。 这两种貌似不属于我老师讲的情况啊，如果强行归结为第二种，表示过去的动作对现在造成影响，那么任何过去的动作都可以用过去完成时表述了。。。
求教！

第一个have tired是作为who have tired to count typically这个定语从句的一部分出现的，修饰了those.
它的作用属于第二种，即造成的影响。 e.g.: they have had it enough with Tom, so they decide to give up.
这句中, Tom的难于相处，造成了我们放弃。
第二个have found才是主句的时态标志，表示those people have found about 5,000 languages.
它的作用属于你说的第一种，即动作持续到现在，表示直到现在一共发现了5000种，e.g.: i have studied for a whole day. 这句中， 是说我到现在为止学习了一整天。
