虽然Clovis points(spear points with longitudinal grooves chipped onto their faces New Mexico site(New Mexico site是Clovis points第一次被发现的地方)命名。

A正确
B have been found时态不对,直接用过去时即可。where first discovered会让人误解不知道什么东西first discovered所以最好加上主谓,where they were first discovered 虽然OG上说这边是拿C point和named for NM比较..
C还是Have been discovered的时态问题。改成were discovered
D even though 和but都表示转折..
E have been first discovered wrong tense..while不能代替although/even though..

A正确的话A里面不是也有have been found么?其实我不太理解的是为什么have been discovered是错误的,而have been found就是正确的呢?

(A) Even though Clovis points, spear points with longitudinal grooves chipped onto their faces, have been found all over North America, they are named for the New Mexico site where they were first discovered in 1932.

Because their discovery took place in 1932 and is not ongoing, the correct verb tense is simple past, not present perfect.】。

Hope it helps ^_^
