求问INSEAD申请轮次和入学时间问题

我目前了解到的INSEAD 2018FALL R3 是2018-01-24， R4是2018-03-07
然后接下来从2018三月开始，又可以申请2019年一月入学了  

final decision notification大概是申请截止日期后的两个多月；申请签证还需要两个月左右

想请教：
1。是不是从时间上考虑，如果想上九月入学的最好锁定ROUND 3?
2。我看到有说1月入学比9月入学好处是多两个月实习，这样看来是不是还不如直接申请2019年1月入学的更好呢？
3。如果申请新加坡小区签证办理会不会比法国校区的简单一点？

Sooo to answer your questions:
1. Yes, pretty much. In general, the earlier for better and most schools will recommend that international candidates apply in the earlier rounds.

2. Only the January intake has an internship. and if you want an internship, then it makes sense to apply for the January intake.


3. This is a legal question about visas which I am not an expert in at all. Please search the internet. Although I would assume that it is easier for Chinese citizens to get a visa in Singapore than in France. But please check reliable sources.

Concerning that I am one of the 'oldest' ones already I'm still gonna try R3 this year

September intake和January intake最好在R1、R2、R3的轮次提交。R4你可以为了信仰交。但我想说，你应该肯定不止申一所学校，所以应该从整体考虑自己申请学校的轮次。比如，你特别喜欢INSEAD，又有理由必须9月入学，那就申9月R3，如果可以等，申明年1月的R1、R2会更好。也要考虑，其他学校的申请时间点。我认为可以作为考虑的点是，很多申美国学校的人会顺带申一个9月入学，但是1月入学这样的竞争就小。

9月是比1月少实习，想不想实习取决于你。如果想做career switch，有实习经历更好，当然如果你关注快速和继续在现有行业工作，9月也不错。

我觉得简单一点不影响你做决策。你有充足的时间准备签证的，所以，只要你选择想去的校区就好了。

I just finished my Round 1 interview for Sept 2020 intake. Please reach out if you have more questions.

Usually, Jan intake is a little bit more competitive than Sept intake. You should also take the Scholarship into consideration. No worry about Visa from my experience. You can start from Singapore then Fontainebleu.
