point 2 + point 3 = the result is already fixed in advance........given that this statement mainly point to someone with a very solid experience in an industry / sector that is in shortage of labour, and this combination is already well known in advance.

and therefore if one fix this requirement.......one already can start job searching right at the beginning, and I don't see much value of going to an MBA for such case.......as the chances is based on previous relevant experience that's in shortage, but not any academic title......

怎么说呢。。。。。。这种例子我看到不止一个。。。。。虽然他们的口语水平的确是让人震惊的不靠谱，但是我分析了一下，第一，没有关系；第二，供需关系的作用很明显，有些就业方向读MBA的极其少；第三，之前的工作背景很靠谱

I understand your tough situation! But first of all, even if right now you are unemployed, you actually have a very nice profile! HKU Masters, PE and IBD work, CFA… It’s great. And because you are a woman, actually I think people can be more forgiving about your time away from work (Did you do anything notable? Like get married? Or have a baby? which you can use for a story)

If your GMAT is high enough, I think you could actually go for S16… And I think an MBA might be better for you than an MF, because you actually have a good amount of work for a finance person. (Although post-experience finance programs can also be a very good option).

But what’s your personal story? Are you going back to america? Staying in China? What are your goals?

個別例子意義我很懷疑……說不定人家是靠關係進的? 或是有其他特別技能剛巧公司用得著?
前面可能說誇張了一點，但T到了90+這類位置，估計不會直接玩完，但其英語水平很可能在面試拉頗大的後腿，尤其是finance...

像樓主這類本身已有master，不是轉行，又不是要靠個degree來賺visa來relocation的話，我覺得本身已經能找到工作的話，沒有必要再讀書。如果靠本身的工作經驗找不到的話，讀來的效果也是network but not more. 而這個的前提就是學校要夠好....西岸五隻，最多十隻手指夠數完了，故此沒定位的需要，全申了就是。

我觉得英语水平已经形成了一个误区。。。。。

反正我有看到入校异常顺利找到某大公司实习（非STEM，可以在Full-time阶段sponsor h1b)）的中国人（当时全班99%美国人也没实习）就操着一口完全只有简单句＋没有时态概念＋无数用词错误的中式英语。。。。。

我觉得找工作还是供需及竞争关系＋自我背景故事的包装；至少我的观念完全改变了
