我的疑惑有以下两个:
1.曼哈顿说定语从句只能紧跟着被修饰词,我把that they may must think is true 看做一个定语从句,那么这个句子修饰的就应该是opponent,而且完全解释的通啊(他们认为不正确的opponent)。答案却认为它修饰statements
2.C选项为什么不对啊?
that是定语从句,但是很明显文段中的that一定是指statements,因为oppenent是人,that是不可以用来指人的,只有who和whom可以,所以That一定是跳跃修饰了statements
to be是表示将来的时态,如果用to be就说明officials未来觉得这些陈述不是真的,不合语意,所以肯定用一般现在时
