March 5th Update: Cornell Interview, lasted almost an hour via Skype.  

interview with 2nd year student:
1. walk through resume
2. Current job responsibilities
3. why MBA, why Now?
4. why Cornell
5. how to handle conflicts?
6. tell me a chanllenge situation at work and how did you solve that problem
7. leadership experience, professionally and personally, how to lead, how to motivate and how to complete objectives under pressure.
8. any community involvement? (must be non-work related)
9. contributions to cornell community, which clubs do you see youself going to and why?
10. carrer goal, very detailed question: which industry? what companies? what have you done to get ready? Did you speak to anyone in the industry to get an idea of what it's like? Where do you see yourself working in the short/long term in this industry? Plans to do this in the US/Canada/China/elsewhere? Why such a career goal? I think we spent like a good 10 mins on this question.
11.question period

Kellogg Interview with Alumni:

1. Tell me about you, what kind of person you are.
2. Walk through your resume, starting from undergraduate days, why this major
3. Each job experience, a few questions here and there about each job
4. Short term and long term goal, why MBA? Why Now and Why Kellogg?
5. If MBA doesn't work out, what is your plan B?
6. A few words your friends/colleague would describe you?
7. Your own strength and weakness?
8. How do you plan to integrate/contribute to Kellogg community?
9. GPA/GMAT a true reflection of your academic capabilities?
10. Question period: I asked about what does he think about PE vs. IB, and did he get what he wanted from Kellogg as a student.

McDonough 面经：

面试我的是2nd year student，白人美女, via Skype.
-small talk. Introducing each other, backgrounds, blind interview for about 35 mins all in all.
-Walk through resume, starting from education.
-Walk through work exp
-Give me an example on how you persuade others to do things you want them to do, how do you motivate them to do so?
-Give me an example on how you handle conflicts within a team working environment, what do you find difficult in handling such conflicts and how do you overcome?
-why MBA why Now Why McDonough?
-What do you do after work to stay active/up to date to the world?
-question period: I asked her what she wants to do short/long term after MBA(since she didn't ask me that). She told me her goals and I shared mine with her afterwards.

Ross Interview: with 2nd year student.  

1. walk through resume
2. ST/LT goals
2. why MBA why now why Ross
3. How do you behave in a team working environment, what difficulties did you encounter, how did you overcome
4. How do you motivate others
5. How to resolve conflicts with others
6. words others would say about you
7. question periods: I asked a question about entrepreneurship and another question about alumni connections.

Interview with Catie Yielding, assistant director of admission.
1. walk through your life (I started from my early childhood) and your resume (from undergraduate studies)
2. a few questions on why you made such decisions while I was walking through my resume
3. how to resolve conflicts in a team
4. Why Darden
5. What skills do you need if you want to accomplish your goals --> Naturally goes to Why MBA Why Now answers
6. question period: I asked if the heavy workload of case studies will hinder the other aspects of MBA experience (networking, job hunting etc...)
