RA positions at VCU(Computer Engineering)

Multiple research assistantships starting from Fall 2014 are available in
the department of electrical and computer engineering at VCU School of
Engineering (Virginia Commonwealth University). These positions are for PhD
students working with Prof. Weijun Xiao in the high-performance and GPU
computing group. The research areas are emerging data storage for high-
performance computing, data deduplication, GPU computing, computer
architecture, and embedded systems. The stipend for a RA position will be $
25,000 per year plus tuition waiver.

Highly motivated students with strong academic background in computer
science or computer engineering are encouraged to apply. Having a master
degree in computer science or computer engineering is desirable, but not
