HKUST MBA在香港到底有多大竞争力

我想问一个很现实的问题，HKUST MBA毕业后的人工作找的都怎么样，有没有向名校那样的资料汇总， 能现实平均薪水，就业范围。。
因为我觉得 在HK 很多人都是从美国顶级学校回来的MBA or Master, 可以说牛人，牛校友扎堆的地方，一个小小的本土HKUST MBA在香港有多大竞争力？面对美帝顶级学校的人， 是否有足够底气， 我认为最后找工作的质量直接影响着是否要申报该学校的医院。

那么london business school的master in finance可以吗

MF不是很了解……不过投行对欧美顶尖商学院的认可度绝对大于亚太的，MF毕业也有人进GS MS的（非back office）

generally HKUST and NUS are of the same tier, although UST ranks higher...if the post-MBA objective is IB and consulting, better go for US top 10/EU top 2..I did witness those graduates who successfully switched their career...but if they went for Asia business schools, they wouldn't be able to find the same job..btw, I did have a conversation with NUS AO, their responses to my questions regarding employment is quite ambiguous.

I have sufficient facts and data, thus I have a different opinion from what you said ....

It took me sometime to think about your comments and how to help..... let me ask you several questions first, hope these questions could give you a clue..

(a) a lot of good schools out there, but how many good companies ? more good companies or more good schools ? How many graduates from a good school each year ?
(b) can a good school guarantee everyone a job, can a good school gruanatee most graduates elegant jobs ?
(c) how many companies in this world hire MBA ? are they hiring average people or very selected people ?

for your friends ,are they chinese or singaporean, when did they graduate, was the macro economic enviroment good, back to the time ? what are their previous background, DBS or top international firms ? whether are they in the industries, which value the MBA education ( there is no demand for MBA in some industry or companies)... demand/ supply.... all these things matter !

For MBA --- If a person is weak in work expr, then s/he shall consider to drive him/herself to be strong in another area.. pick the right location, indusry, position, education ...
most top 15 U are in US..... but top school also can not gurantee a top job for everyone....MBA sounds good, but might not be proper for everyone ( some people are not good at managing things in nature), cost is also very high ...

don't have data but know some facts, not sure how to show you. some friends graduated from NUS MBA, but can't find a good job, even not as good as what they did before MBA. at least, what can be confirmed is that most ppl from NUS MBA can't find an elite job.

I am in regional bank(DBS) as a Business Analyst, not a global bank. consider HK because i want to move back to China someday, and I only focus Asia market in the future. any good suggestion if you are saying move to US is a good decision.
