我没想通从句为什么要用过去完成时，难道不应该用现在完成时吗？

fail 已经暗含失败了意思，但是不能说加了not就是双重否定吧，只能是说很awkward吧。

就像中文里你不能说书香门第之家因为书香门第已经包括了家的概念。

fail in not controlling for, 不等于 fail to control。 fail 的意思是做什么事失败了，本身已经包含了一层否定意思，如果再加一个not,相当于双重否定， 意思就成了succeed in controlling， 与题目意思相反，所以是错误的。

嗯，我后来也做到多个关于such...as....分开的题目。这样的用法也算对的。。。受高中语法影响太大。。。以为是固定词组不能拆开呢。。= =

说点题外话，关于你说到”正确用法不应该是such as...么？会有such...as...这种用法么？“

在中国中学课本，基本上看到的such as 都是紧挨着出现的，于是乎也许在OG里，第一次看到such as 是分开的，以前没有看到过，而且事先潜意识里就被误导觉得such as 一定要连在一起才对。我觉得这种想法太武断了，我们以前学到的，可以说是对的，但不代表和它不同的就一定是错的。
