The reading passage explores the issue of the function of the Chaco great house. The professors lecture also deals with the same topic. However, professor insists that the assumptions about the function of the house are unconvincing, which contradicts what the passage mentions. And in the lecture, professor uses three specific points to prove his idea.
听力的基调是驳论,而非立论,可以多体现驳斥色彩的词,以表明文章态度
First, even though the passage states that because the Chaco house appear strikingly similar to the apartment building at Taos, so the Chaco house were purely residential. The professor argues that even the outside of the building is similar to residential house, but inside of the house disprove it. Since the large house has rooms for 100 families but only has 10 fire place, 这里是个细节 largest house enough 100 families but the fire place can only support ten families. which is not enough. Obviously, the professors argument disproves his counterpart in the passage.

Moreover, despite the statement in the passage that the Chaco house structure were used for store food supplies. Since the size of the house would make them 单复数变化very suitable for the purpose. The professor contends that this assumption is also unsupported by pointing out that the excavation could not find trace of the maize or containers.

Finally, the professor assert that since excavation also discovered a lot of other materials that could not be related to the ceremony, building materials such as sand stone, even construction tools, so pots could just be regular trash. Whereas the passage claims that the house were used as ceremonial centers.
In conclusion, the passage clearly identifies the weaknesses in the passage.

写的很熟练了啊,比我这初学者好多了,框架比较完整,只有小问题,几个地方过于压缩句子,导致逻辑顺序不清;好的地方我就不标出来了,转呈结论的句子都可以背过直接用了。

Independent Writing: Which way do you think is the best for a student to make new friends.
a. joining a sports team,
b. participate in community activities, or traveling。
Integrated Writing: TPO17

Do you still remember the old days in the school, have you tried joining some sports team or other community activities for seeking new friends? Actually, according to some surveys, the question what is the best way to make new friends in the school is the most concerned topic in the school. Some people prefer to joining the sports team and the others would like to participate in community activities or traveling. In my point of view, participating in community activities is far way better for making friends. The following reasons will clearly prove my opinion.

To begin with, first, please imagine that what kind of situation will be best for making new friends. Some students may claim that they will choice doing sports with the others, because it is such funny. However, on the contract, many researches show that people will like to open their hearts only when the time people fell relaxed, in other words, It is much more easier for people to trust and understand each other when they are not fell nevours. this fact suggested that some events such as community activities and traveling will be a more suitable place for enhancing people ‘s social life.

Additionally, compared to sports team, members in the communities are constantly changing. Image every time you step into the group, there always some new faces that you never seen, This provide you more chances to meet different people.

Last but not the least, high competition sometimes will also be a huge obstacle for building friendship. For example, in the school’s soccer team, every member not only need to collaborate with each other, but also compete in the same team. In this kind of situation, people pay more attention on their performance, on one wants to be a burden of the team. The term- friendship, which is very popular among the member in the community, is replaced by another word-teamwork. Once you get into the team, training, exercising, and marching are almost everything. But situation is totally different in communities, people are helping each other. Apparently, people will be more open in this low competition environment.

Taken all aspects into consideration, I can draw my conclusion confidently that community group and traveling group will be a much more suitable place for you to make new friends.

should we lesten to other group member’s advice in our work?

Recently, a controversial issue has been brought to our eye-sights that should we
listen to other group member’s advice during our work? Just as the saying goes that there are one thousand Hamlets in one thousand people’s mind. Some individuals consider one group should only have one direction, which could make the term more (and more) unified, therefore they tend to not listening other’s opinion. However, as a member in a Japanese company, too many cases show me the the power of listening to others. This fact makes me to support the idea of always considering member’s proposals. The reasons following will substantiate my choice.

To begin with, according to some surveys made by Japanese government. The more proposals members in the company make the more successful and delicate the business plan will be. Since individual’s understanding
of the conditions will always been limited. but a business analysis given by a well-functioned group will always be more delicate than the one from individual.
The reason is quite simple,
just like the old Chinese saying-one chopstick is easy to break but 100 chopsticks bound together will be unbreakable. More members’ are making research in your organization means the company can access to more resources and aspect to analysis the question. This methodology right now is widely used by many organizations in the world.

Additionally, since the reason why people go to work is not as simple as for getting their salary.
Everyone wants to be valued by the company, which makes they fell their are more important. Please do not underestimate this thinking, because this will relate to the job satisfaction directly. For example, a staff(staff 是集体名字,an employee) in our university who used to be not very active. people do not pay much attention on(to) him, but things totally changed after his proposal for gathering more students accepted by the Dean, since then he looks like a different person who is willing to interact with school affairs much more. So next time, if you had a problem to motivate your employees, may be listening to them will be the most cheapest therapy.

Taken these two aspects in to consideration carefully, I can draw my opinion confidently that in order to build a strong organization in this competitive business world. listening to each member’s voice will be a essential strategy to take to be too confident on one person’s choice will be fatal.
