Recently, a controversial issue has been brought into our eyes that whether successful people try new things and risks rather than only doing what they know. Personally, I agree with that successful people always try new things. My reasons following will substantiate my opinion. to begin with, the creativity is one of the most important characteristic in today's society. Many master pieces are created by creazy ideas such as cell-phone, cars, and the planes, the list will go on. The most persuasive example for me is Steve Jobs, the CEO of the Apple Company, the most successful cell-phone's maker. In Steve Jobs's time, he is a creative person. He made the a slim and the super fast cell-phone, Iphone. the Iphones are something the costumers have never seen. Finally the iphones became the most popular digital products in the world. He is successful. We can contribute his success to his hard working, and most importantly, his creativity. In addiotion, trying new things will expand the eyesight and make people catch up with the trend. In this hight-velocity society, everything changes quickly. If someone always clings to his own field. he will probably lose his prodominance in the field. Let me take an cell-phone factory as an example. The Nokia, a very famous cell-phone company in the world in the past, clings to an old cell-phone system and never changes. It image that it can make money forever. But the truth is taht gradually, it was catched up by Apple and Haier whose technology were more decorated. Nokia was superseded finally. So the fall of Nokia told us that what we know how to do well will one day be obsolete. The most useful way of catching up the trend of the time is to try new things and take more risks. Undeniably, doing what we know is a safe way to do things right. But taking risks will always make great achievements make successful people. So taking risks outweighs. from what have been taken into consideration above, I can draw the conclusion that successful people always dare to take risks and try new things. Only in this way can they be unique and in the forefront of the world. |
