不好意思啊 我还是不明白为啥就一定保留they do now....
我又找了一道OG题：
65. Digging in sediments in northern China, evidence has been gathered by scientists suggesting that complex life-forms

选C，为啥子这里就省略没问题，而42题的E选项的省略就错呢？Mia和SISI姐姐的解释在LZ给出的例子中确实有道理，但是在上面这道题目里面，than前面也没有与thought平行的结构呀。

RON也觉得是没有什么太大的歧义的，如果硬说有只能从meaning角度的more来看，有hypothetical的成分，所以可以从其他角度排除

那。。好吧。。
我觉得很困惑的是比较状况，意思是比较动词know还是比较名词knowledge，看OG的解释是比较名词可是选项里面比较的是。。动词？

我知道不能跟now对比，想不通的是they do now这个句子觉得好奇怪，为什么不需要前面加个what之类的词呢？

还有这道题从哪里看出来要用虚拟语气的，不用好像也说得通吧。

LZ不能把previously单独拿出来，因为句意原本是说“没有像很多分析家之前想的那样弱”，previously是放在as后面的名词性从句里面的。
这里的比较对象是：实际情况和分析家之前预想的情况

就算像LZ说的，把previously单独放，也是有问题的。因为as...as...结构前面没有能与previously相对应的时间状语！
LZ好好看看我和sisi的回帖，其实说的就是这个问题
