In contemporary society, one of the most common dilemma may be the dilemma between "accuracy" and "quickness". Some people may think quickness is outweigh the accuracy because they believe quickness stands for efficiency. However, in my view, accuracy is always my priority when I am carrying out a work.

First and foremost, sometimes mistakes are not allowed because that may result in disaster, especially in technological industry such as manufacture of aircrafts, rockets. The cost of mistakes even small mistakes may be significant. One may lose his property, job. In some circumstances, the result may even severe, even causing death. For instance, in Zhejiang Province of 2011, a train run out of the track, more than 100 people died in the accident. The reason is that some officials in the government tried to push forward the process of construction of modern super trains, which has a higher speed than the regular ones. However, they fail to guarantee the quality of the project at the same time. Emphasizing speed result in death, what a tragedy. I don't think such tradeoff is deserve. In this sense, I believe we should always put the accuracy on the first place, otherwise there would be more tragedies tomorrow.

Moreover, sometimes working quickly are actually would slow the process as a whole. If there are a multitude of mistakes are made during the work process, then one must probably retackle the problem again, which in turn would adversely affect the efficiency. This example may give some light to the point. When I was at college, I worked as a TA for my economics professor. Once when I was scoring the assignments the students handed in, I was so rush because I was eager to go to an appointment. Later on, a lot of students complained about the mistakes I made during the process. My professor heard about that and blamed on me. I was asked to rescore the whole stack of assignments!  In this basis, It is not a good deal to trade accuracy with speed, in which case we may lose more. On the other hand, if you work carefully, you may accelerate your job.

To be objective, It is may helpful to work quickly than to work mistakes. For example, if the deadline is around the corner, if it is ok to make some mistakes in some tasks.

Generally speaking, I prefer perform my job my accurately than quickly. Don't too rush, there's stones on the road. The faster, the more possibility that you may be hindered.

It may be one of the most common concern of parents: how to get children well-prepared to be adults. There do have a multitude of ways to achieve such goal. For instance, travelling alone, taking part-time job, or even taking a boarding school. As far as I'm concerned, taking a part-time job would especially beneficial for teenagers. Reasons and Explanations are listed as follows.

First and foremost, teenagers could make money via taking a part-time job. Financial independence is a key criteria to be a adult. Once children can sustain themselves without asking for money from their parents, they will solve the most basic problem a grownup would face. My story may give some light to the point. When I was 17 years old and just graduated from high school, my mom sent me to restaurant to be a waiter for a month. To be frank, I was suffered at first that I had a hard time in getting up early in morning and I felt like that I lose my freedom. But one month later, when I got salary payment for the first time of my life, I was fulfilled by achievement and happiness. I bought a keyboard for me as a prize of hard working and I bought a watch for my mother, she was so happy and spoke highly of me. In this sense, financial independence is important for a teenager to be an adult

Moreover, taking a part-time job is also a good time for teenagers to build inter-personal skills, which account for one of the most useful skills for a adult. After entering the society, It is crucial for one to learn to get along well with others, especially colleagues. If a person fail to getting in harmony with surroundings, he probably could not perform his job well. Much less, work time could become hard time for him. According to a survey published on "Science", those people who do not have a sound relation with their colleagues tend be looked down upon by his workmates, which would adversely affect their working efficiency. Some of those, however, be fired by the boss finally. Thus I believe taking part-time job would do good to teenagers by giving them a platform to learn inter-personal skills.

Last but not the least, It is can be educational for children to take a part-time job because they can learn their elementary lesson about sacrifice and dedication. Hardly would those teenagers know that earning money is not as easily as spending money. Through working, teenagers may get a big idea about what the sacrifice and dedication is, then they may be start to appreciate what their parents gave them. They may start to realize the life in the future would not as easily as the life they're enjoying today. For my own experience, I started to understand my parents, for what they sacrificed and dedicated to. I started to be thankful. Thanks to my part-time work experience.

All in all, taking a part-time job could greatly beneficial to teenagers and give them a big idea how a real grownup should be.

The professor contends that the size of birds population would not be declined as the passage indicates.

First, the passage suggests that increasing human population always come along with more exploitation on wild areas, which threaten the habitats of birds. The professor, on the contrary, argues that only some of the birds may decrease while others may increase, which would counter act the side effect it brings. To be specific, urban areas actually providing a better and larger habitats for some kinds of birds. Some residents even complain about the boost of population of birds such as pigeons and hawks.

Second, the professor believes that the agriculture activities would not increase the way as passage suggests. She states that there have been less and less destruction of bird habitats due to the increasing productivity. She further indicates that a new highly productive crop have been introduced into agriculture activities, which can surge the productivity per land unit. The outcome of products would meet human needs very well.

Third, even though professor admitted that right now pesticides do harm birds from survival, she believes that would not be a problem in the future. To be specfic, new pesticides have rarely been introduced into agriculture use and the overall usage of pesticides is tends to decline. Moreover, the crops we are planting are resistant to the insects, thus there is no need for further pesticide usage. Consequently the size of birds' population can aviod of damaging.

To sum it up, the professor do not think that birds would be harmed as a result of increasing population and agriculture activities.

The professor listed three reasons that ethanol fuel would be a good alternative for gasoline, which contradicted directly to what the passage suggests.

First, while the passage contends that ethanol does not perform better than gasoline in terms of environmental protection, the professor argues that plants, from which ethanol fuel are made, could counter act the carbon dioxide release by absorbing those carbon dioxide as their nutrients. Thus the amount of carbon dioxide the plants intake would remove the adverse effect of that amount of carbon dioxide released from the usage of ethanol fuel.

Second, the professor continues disputing the passage by claiming that usage of plants to get ethanol would not affect the feed of animals. To be specific, the parts of plants that are used to produce ethanol fuel are those parts inedible to animals. Thus, the availability of source of food for animals would not be influenced at all.

Third, the professor admitted part of the point presented in the passage that it is the tax subsidies that makes the current price of ethanol relatively cheap. Based on the prediction that price would be driven down when there is more demand and thus more production, he believes that the price of ethanol fuel would be as competent as gasoline in the future. He even gave a specific prediction. He said that the price of ethanol fuel would dropped by 40% if production boost three times as current level.

Based on these details and explanations, the professor strongly holds that the ethanol fuel would be a well-suited alternative of gasoline.
