OG13-65中suggesting和that suggests

正确答案是C,之前已经看过所有讨论帖。
还是有个疑惑，先不看修饰对象这些问题，直接对比A.C.D中suggest的用法
A.Evidence has been...by scientists suggesting
C.Scientist have gathered evidence suggesting
D.Scientist have gathered evidence that suggests


问题一：在之前的讨论贴上4楼有人提出：
“原句说evidence has been gathered，就说明已经完成了，所以suggesting就不可能做evidence的伴随（prep08上说的完成时不能伴随）”

这里很明显正确答案C也使用了完成时，我觉得这个所谓的完成时不能伴随不能成立。
而且suggesting这里应该不是伴随，而是名词的修饰词，不能根据时态来判断是否伴随


问题二：NN们整理的千行表中OG12-38中有关于ing和that从句的讨论，请看以下这道题
According to United States Air Force officials, a cannon shooting dead chickens at airplanes has proved helpful to demonstrate what kind of damage can result when jets fly into a flock of large birds.
(A) shooting dead chickens at airplanes has proved helpful to demonstrate
(B) shooting dead chickens at airplanes has proved itself helpful as a demonstration of

答案是E
网友们觉得shooting这里是进行时，表示正在shooting.
下次要检验 “a noun + v-ing modifier” 是否make sense，就插入”that be”或者”who be”，注意看时态是否make sense。比如这题就变成
a cannon that is shooting dead chickens at airplanes has proved helpful.肯定不对。



那么OG13-65中C选项使用suggesting是否不妥？如果我们把D选项改成scientists have gathered evidence that suggests that complex life-forms emerged much earlier than,是否这道题就会选D了

这题中的suggesting我也是半知半解，不过ron神后来说：

in any case, all three of the following are legitimate:
evidence to suggest...
evidence that suggests...
evidence suggesting...

you will never have to choose between two choices that are fully correct; if you see 2 legitimate versions of some idiom, then something will be wrong elsewhere in one of the choices.

把sisi的解答贴出来，大家一起学习。主动和被动能平行。时态变化状语比较的主谓不用补出来。可以回去再看看比较和平行在manhattan的讲解，很明确的说了主动和被动可以平行。（这个没查到诶??）
并且像这种than expected、than thought，than estimated这类词汇的使用非常的随意，不要想太多时态主被动问题，直接用

这不明显着previously是过去时的标志啊。。。。直接就相当于than (what was)  thought（previously），不过咱不是一直也就当idiom用了么——than estimated/thought/expected。。。。。。

C的og解释里把emerge说成是a parallel active form of the verb，那么它和谁平行呢？后面的though吗？如果如你所说的，后面是这么省略的，呃。。。可以这么省略吗？被动语态连着be动词一起省了，然后一个主动的动词和被动的动词平行？
