有关MBA申请学校的选择

请问各位大侠：
小弟准备申请明年美国的MBA，career goal是立志去investment management公司做research analyst，最终可能运气好可以做到associate PM 或 PM(天上掉馅饼了？个人是Bill Gross的大粉丝，不过只是随便做下白日梦,haha)。请问在investment management比较强的是哪几所学校(e.g., Wharton, Booth, Columbia, Stern, MIT, etc...)，最好稍微比较一下顺序？

Hey there, let dig into it man, you ve got a good list. To be honest IM is something you can do at ANY school. Many of the schools you mentioned have either an advantage of being Finance focused (Wharton, Booth, Sloan is also strong there), or NY bases (Colubmia and NYU) And for someone who wants to get into IM, they are good places to start. You can add Johnson to that list as well (finance strength). And that’s a great place to start. But to be honest if you go to ANY good program, it would be a good place to start from, so I don't think anyone would complain if you graduated from Duke or Harvard.

有一些疑问：听comlumbia的校友来说，他们的Investment banking(主要是IBD方面)很强，但是investment management方面不是那么的强。。。不知是这样吗？本人主要想进fixed income / rates/FX 相关的Investment management公司。

从就业数据来看是columbia > wharton > chicago > LBS > mit sloan > NYU

虽然不是很了解，但是个人感觉在纽约的学校在investment方面总归有优势的吧
