I fundamentally agree with the speaker’s contention, for one aspect,educators should take enough account into students’ interests,for another ,a compelling idea can be make that the educators should take all-sided consideration.
On the one hand,the fact makes sense.Firstly, there is a truth in the education field that the best way for teaching is to teach students in accordance of their aptitude. This kind of teaching method has been accepted for hundrends of years,in china,this could be more remote,which can dates back to Kongzi’S Time.
Secondly ,an old saying goes that the interest is the source of all creations.It makes good sense that the interest is important to students. For instance, Edison took great interest in invention. His parents’amused tolerance ignite his huge motivation to invent more,at last after his great efforts,he did 3000 inventions,which greatly influenced people’s life. Futhermore,
Our educators are supposed to take every students’ interests seriously, so that the students fond of math can get right leading,the students fond of physics can conduct the experiment in the laboratory.In order to cater the individual need and to enhance interests of students,the schools can offer specifically designed programs to students.Finally,Only when you are greatly interested in something,will you maintain the perment motivation to strive.
On the other hand,it seems to be impossible to focus on every individual’s interests in reality.Fistly , some reason can support the above view,for example, the amounts of teachers is limited, the teaching equipments is inadequate,and the same curriculum is hard to change,etc. Considering these facts, it’sdifficult to implement the unfied education system,actually,this will take more pressure on educators and political officers.
Secondly, admittedthat,student-oriented education can be effective to the specialist,not the ordinary students; Afterall, specialists occupy the low amounts,most of students aims at all-around development, it’salso the goal for a school to train students.Thirdly,students are so young experience little,what they get in touch with is only objects around the school,perhaps, they also don’t know their so-called interests is whether truly themselves’own interests.Under this circumstances,the functionof our educators is leading the individuals to seek for their true intersest and lead them at the right path.
In a sum, the issues can arise our profound thinking,what’s the valid education?And what’s the meaning of true education?It’s to do like the first view has showed, or like the second view has show,absolutely, we cannot give the right answer;Here we can give the definition of the true education,it means that the common sense of world and sense of worth are setted or described,fundamental skills are trained,and personal career’s direction are leaded or courage.Morever we can comprehend the major prmise from the definition is the sense of world or sense of truth, without the appropriate control of the whole situation,let alone individual acquirements.
