"In this age of intensive media coverage,it is no longer possible for a society to regard any woman or man as a hero.The  reputation of any one who is subjected to media scrutiny will eventually be diminished."
提纲
1.有些名人在媒体审查下会遭遇身败名裂
2.但是该观点忽略的公众的思辨能力
3.同时需要承认媒体的积极作用

Is it no longer possible for a society to regard any living man or woman as a hero?we would find that the heroes we have just admired have been reported on a scandle recently , in other words ,it is attempting to agree that we citzens would be hard to regard any reliable living man or woman as a hero.However, in terms of the citical thinking ablity of our own and the positive influence of the midia, we would find that there would be many heroes who are reliable to be admired.

Adimittedly,here are one important aspect agrees with the speaker's assertation. There are lots of scandles emerging everyday to the celebrities we had admired which are cast by the mass media.according which we would conclude that the reputation of anyone who is subjected to media scrutiny will eventually be diminished.
.We may take the political celebrities for example.Maybe ,some of us had been admired the clinton for some while for his success as a president untill the exposure of the affairs involved with his secretary.If there would be no intensive media coverage , it would be possilbe for the public to regard the Clinton as a hero to sustain the economy.However, it turned out to be that clinton would not be loyal to his wife,we may extend this result that he would not be loyal to the country as well confronted by the temptation.

Despite the case for some affairs involved with the celebrties , the speaker have overstated the side affect of the intensive media .For example ,the speaker have ignored the critical thinking ability of the citizen their own.According the stories of the steven jobs ,we would find the great entreprenur have some unsatisfory habits , like he prefer to be harsh to others .However, we still consider him as a hero in spite of his unsatisfory habits .Becourse we know that he has the right to be human rather than the god who are perfect.

We would be happy to see the positive effect of the intensive media coverage which would have the power to magnify the positive image of the heroes.Consider Yao Ming for example.Yao has always be the star in China as he have done a lot of work for public good which wins him a good reputation among the adults as well as the elder by the expoure to mass through the massive coverage of the media.This case have demonstrated the positive effect of the intensive media coverage.

There would be no easy task to identify the function of the intensive media coverage.Personally,I would prefer analysis this issue through a case by case method.For some celebrities the intensive media coverage would be a nightmare for them, however , considering the critical thinking ability of the public and the positive effects of the intensive media coverage, the speaker have overstated the seriousness of the problem,in other words , there would be possible for a society to regard someone to be a hero.

乔布斯的例子跟公众的辨别力的关系，没有说清楚。而且“critical thinking"一般指的是学术上的，公众的辨别力应该换个词说比较好。
