LSE: MSc in Finance or Finance and PE

I want to submit my application now. However, still cannot made my decision about the program.

I want to work in Private Equity industry although I know it is difficult for someone who just graduate!
Woking in PE is my career goal and I stated that in my PS!
However, the Intake/applications in 2010: 92/2,052 for MSc in Finance and only 34/1039 for Finance and PE!!
OMG, it is too competitive!!! I wonder whether I should choose the former one instead and rewrite my career goal......

Otherwise, I state that I want to work in the field of PE and I applied for finance only....It might be not good ....

Any suggestion? How many students apply for PE this year? Someone tells me that the number of applicants will reduce this year...

in A&F webpage they clearly state that people who indicate A&F as the first choice will have maximum chance to get it, so could you please tell me what if I put Finance as the first choice and A&F the second choice?

real estate is my first choice. I am quite confused about its acceptance rate. program with "finance" always have a fierce competition. why there were only 200+people applied it last year and Does the requirement really appear that low as it shown on the website?

AF不会因为你把它当二志愿就拒的呀... 我去年就是这样做的，我感觉它录的人还蛮多的呢。
如果是在不放心或者想求稳就一志愿AF（这个和Finance差不多招人又多，就不用去趟Finance那浑水了），二志愿real estate finance 以你的背景LSE应该是稳拿的
哦 对了头LSE可以申大于两个的，只要肯交申请费

嗷嗷，申大于两个啊。。。请问是要第一第二志愿都悲剧了再交申请费申第三第四个志愿么？还是可以在申第一第二志愿的同时新开个账户重新申两个不同的专业呢？求解答。。。Thanks!

I think I will take your advise-putting AF as first choice. Because I want to secure a position in LSE.
Hope Cam will take me... I am a Cam Lover!!!! Within all the programs I will apply, Cam is my dream...

hey i was exactly thinking that - putting finance as first choice and real estate as second choice, cause I dont have gmat so i reckon my chance for finance is pretty slim...but when I went to graduate evening there real estate people were pretty arrogant...so now Im worrying that I dont even get a chance in real estate dont know what I should do really.....

其实两个录取率都很低。Finance和PE录的人都没有那么多。只是入学有内部转专业转到finance 去了
