答案是B。

我选的是D，当时觉得B里面的it指代不清，OG里说it明确指代code。为什么不能指代the basis呢？

还有OG说D选项错误的原因是this指代不清，为什么呢？我觉得this指代的是前面的一整句话。谁能告诉我哪里有问题呢？

this不可以指代用来指代一件事，或者整句话的。而且，this不可以裸奔指代，也就是说this后面一定要一个名词，共同构成一个完整的结构。

比如 Hunters have killed all the dears in this area, this would lead to great disaster.
这个句子中，this应该变成this phenomenon，也就是说this/that后面一定要跟一个名词来做指代。

第二个问题，关于你说B中it指代不清。是这样：主语位置的代词，有倾向先去指代另一个句子的主语位置的名词。（但是宾语位置的代词没有倾向说先去指代另一个句子的宾语或者主语，只有主语位置的代词才有对位指代的倾向。）

(A)除了表达（provisions和provide语义重复）啰嗦之外,that provide... 这个定语从句从语义上看，应该是 修饰code,也就是说应该是maritime code在provide，而不是前面的复数provisions ，定语从句的谓语应该是用provides，而不是provide

像de选项中的Because even这种开头引导的从句可以这样表达么？看选项的时候觉得because even 这两个不都是副词么？为什么可以连在一起使用？语法小白，说错了不要笑。。。

even不是连词。C做伴随状语是可以的。错在逻辑主语不对，islets显然不能stimulate。。
