两个完整的句子应该怎么分开呢？ 逗号or连词？ 还是两个一起用？

我觉得原句的意思应该是 98 percent of men and 75 percent of women had been attacked by the birds by the time they reached adulthood.
加了逗号和and之后LZ是想和什么并列么？

我好像看错题了，原题贴出来了，想问问E里面那个逗号为什么必须加，说是什么独立修饰成分必须分开，那么and分开行不行或者“，and”分开行不行？

by the time they reached adulthood做修饰语修饰had been attacked.在这边叫做Modifier，一定要用两个逗号隔开。不能用，and也不能用and。不能只用一个逗号，哪边都不行，一定要两个一起用来隔开。
就像John, who is a genius, came yesterday一样。主要成分是john came yesterday.中间部分只是修饰。
